This website provides and introduction to the many species of reptiles found in Japan.
English is not my first language, so please excuse any mistakes that you may find or comments that may be difficult to fully understand.
This English version of my web site is a truncated version of my Japanese site.If a Japanese font is installed in your computer, and if you can read Japanese, please feel free to visit my Japanese site . I am sure that it will be more useful, as it provides much more detail on the various species. I suspect that you will find a favorite reptile here in Japan.
I also want to thank everyone for any advice offered to make this site the best that it can be.
